“I brought Catherine in as an external ‘thought partner’ to help with the development of our diversity and inclusion strategy. She proved to be both a fantastic sounding board on the strategy and equally able to turn her hand to delivery - which in my experience is a rare and highly valuable combination. The insight she provided on what's working well in other businesses together with just the right level of challenge really helped us progress our thinking and begin creating a practical action plan.”

“We were looking to launch a pilot sponsorship programme matching high potential female talent with members of our Executive team and asked Catherine to help us design and launch the programme. I enjoyed working with Catherine and really valued her knowledge and experience as she brought this to life for National Gas. She proposed a two-step approach, starting with creating the framework – the principles and how it would work in practice – and then running a half day kick off session with both sponsors and sponsees - to help them understand what it meant for them and give them an opportunity to talk through their concerns. The session was a great success, with overwhelmingly positive feedback and participants feeling excited to get started.``

“We were keen to get a better understanding of our gender pay gap so decided to commission Catherine to lead a piece of research. It involved analysis of our current gender breakdown, an online survey and 121 interviews with 30 people from across the business from mid management to Exec to help us bring this to life. She pulled all this together in a report and presented the key findings and recommendations at one of our Exec meetings.
Catherine was a pleasure to work with and the feedback from interviewees was excellent. This work has generated a lot of excitement and really helped us start a conversation internally. The soundbites in particular were very powerful and the practical nature of the recommendations landed really well - providing us with a clear route ahead, and refreshingly, not only ideas of new initiatives we can look to put in place but also where we can simply make more of what we're already doing.”

“We asked Catherine to chair a workshop on the future of women's networks. The aim was to create a trusted environment for key clients, customers and partners involved in women’s networks to share experiences and learnings, as well as to look ahead to future opportunities and challenges to champion gender balance and women in the workplace. She made the whole process of organising the event really straightforward, delivering a great presentation to help stimulate what was a very lively and interesting discussion and facilitated the session expertly. Everyone at BL was thrilled with how the event went and we had fantastic feedback from the attendees.”

“We first engaged Catherine when we were looking to review our graduate recruitment process with a diversity and inclusion lens. We were keen to identify any areas where we could be doing even better, particularly in relation to gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation and social background and asked Catherine to provide an external perspective. She helped us shape and facilitate a half day workshop with the key stakeholders and provided valuable insight into what's working (and what isn't) elsewhere. Perhaps most helpful of all though, she challenged us by simply asking the right questions. We recently brought her back for a similar session on our onboarding and induction programme. On each occasion, with Catherine’s support, the team were really engaged and left with a big list of potential improvements, and Catherine shared some invaluable observations with me that will help us make a step change in our approach. Catherine took the time to understand our business and focus her approach to get the best value for us; I'm already looking at how else we can use her skills.”

“I initially asked Catherine for help in shaping our family leave policy. At that stage I had just hired my first 6 employees and wanted to make sure we got this right from the start – for both the business and our new team. Two years later we have over 30 employees and counting, across Europe and APAC, and Catherine delivers 121 support sessions for team members when they become parents (pre, during and post leave). These have proved to be incredibly valuable. She’s also worked with us to help support our Line Managers, so they feel equipped to support their teams through this major life change. Our next step is developing our wider inclusion strategy. Having Catherine as our external expert on this, to call on as needed, has been really valuable to me.”

"Catherine has a true passion to support working parents and women in the workplace. Her experience enables a great understanding of what it means to be part of a challenging organisation and she is able to determine what approach is required to make change happen. She demonstrates strong leadership, direction and ownership in all that she does, and she has an amazing style which brings everyone along with her on the journey. Catherine’s ability to story-tell and create a vision is what sets her apart from the rest."

"I've been lucky enough to work with Catherine more than once over the last few years. Catherine breaks complex issues into simple tasks, and pro-actively engages stakeholders from around the business. Her attention to detail is impressive and her direct, no-nonsense delivery is highly effective. She has a number of skills and tools up her sleeve (and I don't know many who can run a better workshop!). Overall, Catherine is highly capable, totally professional, and has an ability to makes things happen... with skill."

"I first met Catherine as a fellow speaker at an event a couple of years ago. The feedback was brilliant so I invited Catherine to join us at the Omniwomen Annual Summit for c.400 of our top female talent. She did not disappoint. She has that magic combination of being both knowledgable and incredibly passionate about the subject which makes her really engaging - and her story is hugely inspiring"
